Two internationally acclaimed intellectuals, sir Drummond Bone, professor of English literature at Oxford University, and Martin Hilský, professor at Faculty of Arts, Charles University, will discuss the topic “Romanticism, nationalism and nationhood: Literary perspectives on politics”.

The discussion will take place at 17:00 on September 25 in room 200 of the main building of Faculty of Arts, Charles University, at Jan Palach square no. 2. Jan Přibáň, professor of Law at Cardiff University, will chair the debate. Simultaneous translation into Czech language will be available.
