Abstract:
Effective Altruism is a philosophically-driven social movement that promotes using the resources we have available to maximize good. If we understand value in terms of desirable states of consciousness, it is clear that this is not limited to human beings. I will discuss some of the issues that arise in putting this approach into action.
Registration is not required, the attendance is free. The event will be conducted in English.
