We invite everyone to a lecture by Sir David Cannadine, president of British Academy, entitled “Margaret Thatcher in historical perspective”. On the day of planned “hard Brexit”, Sir Cannadine will talk about Thatcher’s attitude to European integration and her heritage in Britain and across the world.
The lecture will take place at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague (Jana Palacha 2), in room 104. It will be chaired by Michael Žantovský, director of Vaclav Havel library and former Czech ambassador to Great Britain.
Attendance is free of charge.
